Owner

Roughley Ewin Financial Services was incorporated as a separate business with in Roughley Insurance Brokers Limited in 2008. Jim Ewin owns and operates Roughley Ewin Financial at the same location of 1000 Simcoe St. N. in Oshawa.

Jim has been certified in financial planning and has worked in the insurance industry since May 4, 1981. He holds several business and industry related designations.

Jim entered the insurance and financial services industry after a successful 10 year career as a Durham Region paramedic both ground ambulance and air ambulance divisions.

Our service to the community deals with Financial Planning, Life Insurance, Disability, Critical Illness, Pensions and RRSP’s, Employee Benefits and Travel Insurance. As brokers for several companies it is our pleasure to service the needs of our policy holders within several companies.

Valerie joined the company in 2010. She comes to the company with over 18 years experience in Financial and Life Insurance office management and marketing. She holds professional industry related qualifications.
